Memories...

Schooling is a compulsory routine for every individual. I could still remember how we had fun in primary. Everyone have a nickname when we were in standard 3. I could still remember that how me and my friends care for each other. I remembered that i had a scar on my left part of my forhead. I was absent for about 1 week. When i returned to school, so many of my friends asked what happened to me. Frankly, I was blessed with marvelous friends in SFI. Year 2006, Our UPSR examination. Our first challenge in our life. Most of us passed with flying colours. There were 35 of us in our 47 classmates class who scored straights. It was the first time we climb on other school's head. We were the ones who broke our school record that year. It was really a blessing.

Joy did not last that long though. When the year end approaches, we were selected for our secondary schools. Yes, it might be a pain in the beginning. I was alone. 1/127 students who stepped into SMK Ayer Keroh. I could still remember that I went to the headmaster's office to check my class. I was surprised that the teacher asked "How many A's did you score in your UPSR". Woah!! I mean, they sort them according to grades only? It was a fresh start in SMK Ayer Keroh. In form 1, I did not knew that about 99% of us speak chinese among ourselves. Its totally different from the schooling life in SFI. Honestly, i only speak English to my teachers, and my only Serani friend. In pain there is also joy. 苦中一點甜。I was one of the member of the Red Crescent society here. Marchings were taught. I could remember that i met a Franciscan here who transfered to St. David when i was in form 2 year end. Ng Han Lim. He was a bright one. He came to me that time in the form 1 marching. I think he knew me in primary. He asked me, "Are you a Franciscan?". I was shocked because there are NONE Franciscans in my school before.

In form 2, i began to build the Red Crescent Society with my 'brother' Gary. Our effort were really rewarding. Within the 2 years of building, The PBSM society now in my school is one of the top in these 2 years.

Form 3 can be said as an enjoyable for us. Good thing that we had our wonderful teacher. She managed to make us the top in school. We've learned the importance of Cooperation and selflessness. It was really a competition in our class. There were 16 chinese and 16 of the opposite race. Well, guess what? The class President election for us. I was chosen to be the one to be voted. The vote ended up in 15-15. This made our class teacher ending up in anger. But to me, the most important is, when we elect, we must also compete about the someone's quality whether he or she is fit for the post. I stepped back. I let him be the Class monitor, the teacher were trying to tell me that mostly of her stuffs like the class activity arrangement, were planned by me and not my class monitor. She tried to tell me but she cant say it straight out. We knew that though. So, hope next year could be better for us and hoping that race problems will not exists in future.

In this year end after PMR, thanks to Johnston who requested me for a reunion among all our long missed friends. Things were as my post before about our great reunion.

It is really a blessing to have so much caring and great friends. Thank you friends. God Bless You All.
